Welcome to IMHOPE!

               (International Ministries of Hope)

IMHOPE is a Christian outreach ministry to local internationals and the seafarers. Dr. DeSouza has a heartfelt concern for the spiritual and physical well being of all internationals and feels that he has been called by God for this ministry. IMHOPE partners with local churches in ministry to internationals and seaman, telling them about God's love and forgiveness. It is IMHOPE's goal to help local churches in their outreach missions, discipleship training, and church building mission trips.

God is giving us another opportunity to lead a team of volunteer missionaries to the city of Nossa Senhora de Nazare in the northeast part of Brazil.  This is a strategic location  for a new church.  International Ministries of Hope and national leaders agreed to plant a church in Nazare in August 2012.  Why Nazare?  The need is great.
We need your help. The cost of the building materials for this church is $14,000. Friend, building a church 30 X 50 in a poor community is about a necessity and not about a luxury.  It is four walls, roof, electricity, doors and windows--nothing else.

Would you pray that God moves His people to give generously to meet the urgent need?

I want to thank you for your generosity.  The check can be made to:
International Ministries of Hope and sent to
4241 Lott Road, Eight Mile, AL  36613.

Prayer Corner

The possibilities of prayer are the possibilities of faith.  Prayer and faith are Siamese twins.  One heart animates them both.  Faith is always praying.  Prayer is always believing.  Faith must have a tongue by which it can speak.  Prayer is the tongue of faith.  Faith must receive.  Prayer is the hand of faith stretched out to receive.  Prayer must rise and soar.  Faith must give prayer the wings to fly and soar.  Faith opens the door, and access and audience are given.  Prayer asks.  Faith lays it hand on the thing asked for.
